Moral values examples and definition according to the bible
Definition
Morality is defined as the different actions that are going to give the human being the opportunity to help themselves, to grow in their personality within a society or environment.
Generally, the purpose of knowing what are the values and the need from the school to teach them, has to do with the fact of perfecting the human being, in its different family, cultural, ethnic, social areas so that there is no scope where man can not develop as a person.
As the vast majority of people know or have heard of something called free will, the selection of moral values also applies. For it is the decision of each person the fact, to include all these values that we will already know in our daily life.
There are people who apply them since childhood, but there are also a number of human beings who, based on free will, decide not to implement them in their lives, so that they do not use and practice these values in their majority.

Examples of moral values
1.- Altruism
It has to do with the desire, of a person for the welfare or happiness of someone else. Generally, it is rare to observe in society how other people care about someone's need, other than themselves. What means that being a value, is not practiced normally, however there are people who if they practice it or carry out an example are: doctors, they are always looking for ways to improve the health status of their patients
2.- Responsibility
It has to do with the action of finishing something, which started at some point in our lives. This is a value of great importance for the growth of the human being, since it allows him to have a unique criterion to finish or finish all the things that he proposes throughout his life. An example of responsibility is: parents, when they start having children, they acquire a responsibility for their whole lives in relation to their children.
3.- Acceptance
It has to do with the action of want as such and as we are, without wanting to change something or everything. Acceptance refers not only to the human being as a person, but also to accepting the other people around us as they are and as God created them. An example of this is: children with Down syndrome are people who may not be physically or intellectually equal to other people, but have a capacity for acceptance of themselves and the indescribable society.

5.- Love
It has to do with the action of attachment or emotional union towards other people and likewise. Love is a very long word to define, but it can be seen as the passionate way a person gets attached to someone else. An example of love, we find it in the bible and this person is: Jesus Christ, who went to a cross to die for you and me, without caring his own well-being, there will not even be a greater proof of love that is already mentioned .
6.- Appreciation
It has to do with action, to give thanks to people who have had an act of goodwill towards us. Gratitude is a value of relevance and it allows us to give thanks to God for what we have and for what is to come, regardless of the circumstances. Human beings are accustomed to only receive, but not to give, without knowing that there is no greater sign of gratitude than to give something for someone else, regardless of whether they have done something for us.
7.- Respect
It has to do with the action of giving value to objects or people, in a way that limits us to cause some kind of damage or disturb the peace of someone else. There is also respect for ourselves as individuals, which finally leads us to keep respect for other people. An example of respect: the elderly, these are people who must be cared for, and therefore have a great respect for the number of years they have in life, and the great experience that characterizes them.
- Friendship
It has to do with the union or relationship of two people or more, who share ideas, thoughts, moments together or are related to one another, sharing common qualities and goals. An example of friendship is: Ruth and Nohemí, two women in the Bible who were great friends until the end.

It has to do with the action of the human being to do good things for himself or for other people. Kindness takes you to have an attitude of humility and understanding for other people, who are in need of help. Example of kindness: Jesus Christ, in one of the parables of the bible, Jesus had mercy on a prostitute, who approached them asking for help.
10.- Dignity
It has to do with the action of the human being, not doing things that go against their moral or values acquired. Dignity is something that people usually lose in moments of anguish, where they feel obliged to perform acts of evil, to which they are not accustomed or know that they are not well. An example of dignity is: Jesus Christ who for no reason, even though he knew of the fact of denying God not to be crucified, he never denied it, for him it was more important to obey his father than to comply with the requests of God. others.
11.- Generosity
It has to do with the action of automatically offering something to someone else, without the hope of wanting or expecting to receive something in exchange for that which I give. This also has to do with time, material objects, words which are offered to someone else. An example of: generosity is Jesus Christ, who nourishes according to the bible, a large crowd of hungry people, without the hope of receiving something in return.
12.- Humility
It has to do with the action of respecting other people, talking to everyone equally. Humility is observed and interpreted by many people as the fact of not believing something above other human beings. An example of humility is: Jesus Christ who, regardless of his social status or being the only son of God, treats all people not seeing his rank or social status.
13.- Justice
It has to do with the action of maintaining a correct attitude towards society, interpreting what is good or bad. It can be defined, as the action of being fair with other people. An example of justice is: God, which makes the sun rise, both bad and good.

General objective of the values
They help the human being to grow more as an individual within a society.
The values, give them a greater responsibility and logic our life on earth.
The values, make known to other people around us, who we really are.
They help us face various difficult situations in our daily lives.
It gives us the tools we need before society, to relate as a family or environment to end.
It gives us the freedom, to choose if we want to implement them in our being, or not. So it takes us to make our own and unique decisions.
Values allow us to be original and authentic, within a diversity of thoughts, included within a society.
Values do not allow us to participate in acts of evil, on the contrary they lead us to be better people every day.
Values allow us to be people who share, and not become selfish.
Values teach us to value, everything that surrounds us including family, environment, that is, leads us to value everything in general with what in our life we have contact.
The values allow us to be examples for other people to overcome.
Values facilitate interpersonal relationships in society.
Although the heart is capable of feeling love and compassion, it is also treacherous and desperate (Jeremiah 17: 9). This is the reality, and it is reflected in how much the morality of this world has changed, a fact that the Bible predicted in the following terms: "In the last times will come difficult days. Men will be selfish, lovers of money, proud and vain [...;] will be cruel and enemies of all good [...;] will seek their own pleasures instead of seeking God "(2 Timothy 3: 1- 5, God speaks today).
In view of the situation, should we not question our heart instead of following it blindly? That's right, the Bible says with all sincerity: "He who trusts in his own heart is stupid," or foolish (Proverbs 28:26). To be useful, the heart needs to "adjust" -like compasses-using values. And where are these values? Many look for them in the Bible, because they recognize their wisdom and their frankness.

What are values? They are moral or ethical principles that are considered necessary and desirable. Some of them are forgiveness, honesty, love, respect for life and self-discipline. Values influence the behavior of people, their priorities and relationships, as well as the moral guidance they give their children. As you can see, they are essential, and yet they are in decline. Great message @xiore.
