LEARN TO FORGIVE LIKE JESUS

Forgiveness is one thing that people finds it difficult to do. Do you find it difficult to forgive? I once found myself in a situation where it was very difficult for me to forgive my friend when he betrayed me. I was really hurt. So sometimes, if someone finds it difficult to forgive, I'm not all that surprised. But the Bible teaches us to forgive, so no matter the weight of the sins someone commits against you, you have to let go.
"Ephesians 4:31-32
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you."

When people hurt us, we should learn to look at what people have done to themselves instead of just looking at what they have done to us, because hurting people hurt people. Usually, when a person hurts someone else, he’s probably hurting himself at least as much and is suffering as a result. That’s why, as He hung on the cross in agony, Jesus said of His murderers, “Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do.”
"If you forgive others the wrongs they have done to you, your Father in heaven will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive the wrongs you have done. (Matthew 6:14-15)"

Forgiveness might be hard sometimes, but it is mandatory for all Christians to learn how to forgive. It is on this basis that we have the right to ask God for his own forgiveness, don’t expect God to forgive you when you are still bearing grudges against someone else. Forgiveness is a very serious thing in Christendom, even your giving does not amount to anything when you are living in unforgiveness, God expects you to forgive first before presenting your offering to him, that is how serious the issue of forgiveness is in the christian life. Many people will go to hell because of unforgiveness. Let's not be victims. To err is human, to forgive is divine.
