When you are in the storm, know that the storm can never overwhelm you...IF HE IS IN YOUR BOAT.
He uses the storm in whatever form they come to tame our ears to hear.

On that ship, when there was storm in Mattew 8, guess what the master was doing?

unbelieveable right? He was fast and sound asleep.

How can He be relaxed in this storm. We are all certain we would die if nothing happens soon.
Was Jesus already prepared to die?
So many quesrions to ask.

But hear this: the only time i saw God do the wrong thing was the times i wasn't seeing right

It was all intentional. He knew what he was doing.

But then, they woke him up and see what He said:
Why are you fearful? O ye of little faith?.

He woke up, didn't see the storm, paid zero attention to the wrecking ship, was not bothered about the thomas that was kneeling down and confessing his sins. Not bothered about the ones that were wailing because it was over. He didnt address the situation.

He addressed their reaction not even the situation first.

It stated clearly how much they believed Jesus. How much they knew of him. Because if they knew who was actually with them on the ship, they would have known that even if the ship gives in, they will soar on the waves.

He addressed their faithlessness and remember, faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Before you trust, you have to listen. But unless Christ’s Word is preached, there’s nothing to listen to.

At every point in your storm, he wants you to have faith. The faith that comes only by the word that comes from his mouth.

The Spirit came into me as he spoke, and he set me on my feet. I listened carefully to his words. Ezekiel 2:2

Do you see that? There is strength for you in Hearing Him speak to you.
The letter kills, but the spirit illuminates. It gives life. It gives light. It effervesces.

Until those letters become words from His nouth to your hears, faith is not found yet.

And note again, when he woke up, talked about their condition,
Most people thinm he spoke to the wind.
But no, he rebuked both the Wind and the Sea.

Aftterwards, THERE WAS GREAT PEACE. NOT JUST PEACE,GREAT PEACE.

The kind of peace He said he brings to you, not as the world gives. Sometimes, when he storm rages, you might find peace in people and drinks, smokes, sex, food, loneliness, games, music, whatever you think.
But that omly distracts you.

The Great Peace you seek only comes from his mouth to your ears and that journey is called REVELATION!

So, that Storm is not going to overwhelm you, you, just tune your ears and trust everything he says.
