Jesus The Source Of Life

When God put in my heart, at the beginning of the week, that topic, it scared me. It would be a preannouncement on how to bear frustrations.

Our joy is based on other values and fundamentals. On the occasion when Paul wrote that letter to the Philippians, he was imprisoned in a house in Rome, and guarded by the Roman guard 24 hours a day. He had little of what was considered privilege.

Even in these adverse circumstances, "The peace of God (v. 7) and" The God of peace "(v. 9) were clear realities in Paul's life. The same can happen with us, if we learn to live happily. .

In terms of content, on an abundant life, Paul writing to the Romans states: "And the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in your belief, so that you may be rich in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit." (Rm 15 13).

THE SOURCE OF CONTENT - It does not depend on what happens.

What is satisfaction? Content is different from happiness. Happiness is an experience that originates from a happy moment.

Contentment, in turn, does not depend on what happens. He is grounded in Christ and in the strength that He gives.

When we drink from that source of content, we overflow with contentment. It is an inexhaustible source, we do not need to do economics, there is no rationing. We can drink in abundance. However, sometimes we despise that source. And, we stop filling the heart with the attributes of heaven, and fill with the illusions of this present and passing, fleeting life.

It is imperative to recognize that genuine contentment comes from God, He is a Divine gift and is beyond human capacity and not subject to circumstances. He is the source of hope. The hope that God does not deny anyone. It is available to all men and women.

To paraphrase Tom Haggai, we can affirm: "Life centered on itself is totally empty, and the life that empties opens space for hope, for contentment because it opens spasm for God.

THE SOURCE OF CONTENT - It is reached by gratitude.

To be grateful is a virtue, it is a gift of the soul.

Do not ambition great things for yourself, but for God.

"Gratitude supplies the soul, and ambition destroys the character and kills, it kills the purity, the sanctity, the consecration of life." The Psalmist begins Psalm 131 saying: "Lord, my heart is not proud, nor my gaze haughty , I'm not looking for great things, or wonderful things too much for me. "

Jesus said: "Tomorrow will bring his cares, his own evil is enough for the day" (Mt 6. 34).

Gratitude depends on the amount, we must be grateful to God for what we have, whether it is very or little.

Hebrews 12. 1 b, 2 a states: "unleashing us, let us run and look firmly to Jesus." He is the author and finisher of the faith.

Faith leads us to hope, security and rest. Everything begins with gratitude as a way of gratitude for all that God has done to us, he does and will do for the sacrifice that his Son once made on the cross of Calvary so that our contentment would be perennial. There is a song that says: "That peace that I feel in my soul, it is not because everything is going well for me, the peace that I feel in my soul is because I praise my Lord.

Thus, with Christ in our hearts, we may be in need, but at the same time we have everything.

THE SOURCE OF CONTENT - Promotes our victory

"I can do everything in which he strengthens me." (V. 13)

The world is a mad race for its achievements, seeking to overcome difficulties and, at the same time, running after joy, peace believing that money, fame, the pleasures of life and, as indicated by an author : "... in unclean corridors of anti-life, but those who reach and reap is failure, disappointment, bitterness, disappointment and much pain, if not death itself.

Paul affirms that "... of all and in all circumstances, I already have experience, both of abundance and of hunger, of abundance and scarcity." Paul knew, that is why he affirms the faithfulness of God, the God of hope, that fills our hearts with joy and peace, that offers each man and woman victory over every situation, over every circumstance we live.

In the one that strengthens me. This was Paul's hope, that is our hope of victory, victory over discouragement, victory over lack of resources, victory over injustices, over humiliations, over setbacks.

It is in Jesus that we have all the strength and peace that no man, no propaganda, no authority can offer: "I leave you peace, my peace I give you." (John 14. 27). It is the promise of the Prince of Peace.
