Exempt? – Exodus 19:22steemCreated with Sketch.

Even the priests, who approach YHWH, must consecrate themselves, or YHWH will break out against them.

This was the day when YHWH called all the people of Israel to Mount Sinai to enter into covenant with them. It was a time all the people were to prepare themselves for. Even the priests had to consecrate themselves. They’re position didn’t exempt them. They could have easily thought that they were already prepared for such an occasion. Yet, YHWH made it clear that they were to prepare just as everyone else.

It amazes me when I see people in some important position feel that they are above the rest. Feel that they can cut through a line. Feel they don’t have to follow or obey what everyone else has to. I think what bothers me the most about that is how it seems like many of them have just forgot where they came from. It’s one thing to be invited, it’s another to expect it.

Don’t let your position in life make you feel you’re exempt from what the Father is calling all of us to walk in.

Let this be a focus in your time of meditation throughout the day. Until next time, shalom!

Howdy sir simms50! yes sir it's amazing how people act and it sounds like you're describing the typical politician! I know it's not limited to them but they're the most visible to us. Most need to get saved. lol.

I would probably guess that 90% or more of them need to be saved!!!! :-)

Sir simms50! I agree, it's a sad statistic and it should be reversed, we should have 90% genuine Christians serving.
