Content? – Revelation 3:15-19
I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm – neither hot nor cold – I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, “I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.” But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see. 19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest, and repent.
These were the words spoken to the church of Laodicea. A church that seems pretty content with their walk. A church that believes they’re doing good. A church that felt they had no needs. Yet, Yeshua said they were wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. Pretty strong words for people who thought all was good. What do you say of yourself?

Howdy sir simms50! Now this is something to think about isn't it? They should have taken a good hard look at themselves and reassessed things like we should be doing.
Yes we should be reassessing and now that the Passover season is upon us we need to get the leaven and junk out of us that goes against God....
1 Corinthians 5:6-8 "Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. 8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth."

Hey if you don't mind me asking, will you be observing Passover this year?
Howdy again sir simms50! well probably won't be observing it in a formal manner, I think my wife will be working so not much is done on those days with the 12 hour night shifts since she sleeps most of the day then gets up and basically gets ready for work again!
Gotcha....well at least that night you can remember those verses I mentioned before about Christ being our Passover Lamb!
