SteemChurch venezuela: Day 2#Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

in #steemchurch6 years ago

We continue with the analysis of the Beatitudes, the second of these is: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will receive consolation" Matthew 5: 4.

This is the second of the eight beatitudes that our Lord taught his disciples in the well-known Sermon on the Mount. Jesus established the order of the beatitudes, which means that they are like a ladder. This crying is about something spiritual, who are those who cry? the answer is very simple: the poor in spirit.

This is another of those strange and contradictory phrases to the idea that our world has about happiness. Does happiness have any relation to suffering? Can we talk about the happiness of pain? What kind of suffering and tears does Jesus refer to in this beatitude?

Undoubtedly he is speaking of a real pain, of authentic suffering, of true tears of affliction. In the Greek language of the New Testament this word cry means an intense pain that can not be repressed and that manifests itself in living tears, gestures or pain.

Jesus speaks of suffering and affliction in general, whenever this suffering becomes a bridge that leads man to God (Isaiah 61: 2). Because not all who mourn will be consoled, then, this bliss, like all others, is in relationship with Jesus and with the disposition of man towards his person and work.

Jesus says: Blessed are those who mourn, because suffering brings us closer to God, makes us recognize that he is our consolation, the one who can help us, he is the balsam that heals our wounds.

This bliss applies to those situations that humanize us, that cry that leads us to God, to seek Him with our whole being. Sometimes suffering is a message from God. So that we know that everything here on earth is temporary, but spiritual fecility is eternal. This is the happiness of communion with God. Unbreakable happiness.

In suffering we discover the love and fidelity of God! in pain there is blessing, in bliss there is bliss. For suffering brings us closer to God and unites us to the Lord closely. There we learn to know him. There we like his fidelity, his love and his grace to restore our soul, spirit.

The true meaning of this blessedness and what jesus was referring to: it is the crying that causes to recognize sin, the pain that causes us to know that we have failed God, yes, we are blessed when our spirit is so humble to recognize that we have sinned against heaven, against God. The clearest example was lived by Peter, when he denied Jesus, says the script that Pedro wept bitterly, he did because he recognized his sinful humanity. That weeping led him to true happiness, then Jesus appeared to him, forgave him and told him to feed my sheep.

Crying means that we are spiritually sensitive, it is a sign that our heart of stone has been turned into a heart of flesh. May the Lord allow us to shed tears: that we feel a deep regret for what we should not love and still love, a deep discomfort of the world that makes our soul moan, waiting for our consolation, deeply regret any own slip and also the alien God gathers all our tears, he has told them, he says the word: that he will dry all tears.

I believe that my best moments have been those, in what my spirit has recognized that without God I am nothing, then comes the breaking, the weeping, when we realize the errors we have committed against our Father, there begins happiness when he comes with open arms to give us his warmth, to forgive us, to restore us, to simply love us.

How much I love you God!

Men cry when they fail us, when the family suffers, when everything goes wrong and problems come, but how much do we cry for our own sin? How much do we regret for our evil? I will explixcaré with more detail in my next message ...

In fact, when we look carefully into the trials and sufferings we have in this present life, it is short, insignificant and temporary compared to the eternal bliss and happiness which awaits all who will journey to the end. Great musings @darlenys01

So if you are poor in spirit, it is a spiritual poverty, it follows that "mourn" is also a spiritual and moral cry. Therefore "those who mourn" are the same ones who have recognized their ruin and spiritual bankruptcy and for that reason they lament their condition, they grieve for their evil and they cry for their sin.

God is truly our comforter and He is the only one who truly understands what we go through us humans. There is no emptiness in our heart that He cannot fill or longing in our heart that He cannot satisfy. I'm blessed by this inspirational post, thanks @sc-v

This is a great post.

When we have trusted in Jesus as our personal substitute for sin, we no longer stand condemned (Romans 8:1). Rather than wallow in guilt and shame, we realize that we stand justified before God (2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:24). Those who learn to mourn over their own sin find the heart of God. And intimate fellowship with God is the very foundation of true happiness.

Thanks for sharing this with us. ✌

well said here "-You can share the way to apply that happiness in the present, its meaning. or simply a testimony of life" thanks for sharing @sc-v

I will update myself with my contribution apostle @ darlenys01. There is nothing better than being consoled by God.

The idea of consolation in the Old Testament was linked to the concept of forgiveness of sins. The prophet Isaiah said: "Comfort, comfort, my people, says your God. Speak to the heart of Jerusalem; tell him loudly that his time is now fulfilled, that his sin is forgiven; that he has received twice from the hand of the Lord for all his sins "(Isaiah 40: 1-2). And then "rejoice together, you loneliness of Jerusalem; because Jehovah has comforted his people, Jerusalem has redeemed "(Isaiah 52: 9).

The sadness of the world is selfish, proud, unfruitful and it distances you from God, that is why "it produces death". But the sadness according to God, is provoked by the Holy Spirit, humbles us, brings us closer to Him, leads us to repentance and therefore produces salvation and eternal life.
