Together we stand, djvided we fall.

The very first time David saw Bathsheba, he wanted her for himself. But owing to the fact that it was Uriah's wife, it was impossible. 

David then deviced a plan and wrote a letter to joab. The content of the letter was:

Put Uriah in the front lines where the fighting is the fiercest. Then pull back and leave him exposed so that he’s sure to be killed.

- 2 Samuel 11:14-15 
There is a striking sentence in "verse 15" that led to Uriah's death.

If we're to critically Analise this sentence, you will observe that:His "brother in arms" (fellow soldiers) that he fought side by side with, betrayed uriah.Uriah did not die because he could not handle the intensity of the war but he died because of the negligence of those who were supposed to support him in the battle zone. The ones meant to cover his back or his lapses, exposed him for him to be killed. 
Paradoxically speaking:His real enemies was not even the ones he was fighting in the battle front but those he was expecting to protect his back.One thing we must understand in this passage is that, Uriah was a:

• well trained,
• disciplined and a 
• Skillful soldier. 

But he couldn't fight the battle single handed, he needed a faithful team to back him up. He was not an inexperienced or weak soldier. The bone of contention was the "negligence" of his fellow soldiers In reality, negligence has cost the lives of soldiers in war and has also cause fatal injuries that left them either decapitated or disfigured for life.

In a time of needs and difficulties, when we withdraw, faithful and innocent persons loose there life to the enemy either :

• Spiritually
• Emotionally or 
• physically.

God will definitely hold you accountable because of your indifference toward your brethren whenever bad thing happens to them. When we pull back and expose our brethren, we become accomplice with the enemy and God is watching us.

Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Galatians 6:2

So many people have left the body of Christ because we withdraw back in there time of weaknesses and needs, thereby exposing them to the enemy. Let's be careful not to neglect one another especially in times of need and be our brothers and sisters keeper. 

I am your Uriah and you are my Uriah, let's avoid withdrawing back to expose each other. We are strong together, when we have each others back. Otherwise on our own, we're vulnerable.
