BEHOLD, I WILL DO A NEW THING.

Isaiah 43:18-21 (KJV)

18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old..

19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

20 The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

21 This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

NEW: FRESH, NEWLY MADE, SOMETHING NOT EXISTING BEFORE, BEING OTHER THAN THE FORMER.

The book of Isaiah 43 was and is addressed to God’s people.

So, it is written:

“Do not remember the former things, neither consider the things of old”.

Why? There are many events in 2018 that you would not like to remember.

These events brought some soured taste to you or yours. Remembering these events turns your mood. God knows that you know.

Yesterday is gone brother. 2018 is gone sister. You cannot live is them, no way. Gone and gone forever. God is a Time God.

You failed in your attempts to make it good in 2018. And so what?
God understands that. Many things seemed to work against you in 2018.

Your dreams were not realized. Yesoo!

You helped to make your friends and now they turned their back on you.

That’s human! Fair weather friends everywhere.

There are many things wrong with 2018. But hear this. You need to “BE AGAIN”.

New beginning!

IT IS WRITTEN:

“Behold, I will do a new thing;” You sure read this from our bible text, didn’t you?

Who will do this new thing? GOD himself, not man. This is a sure promise you can take to your bank. Did you read it with me? He said, I will do a new thing.

That means He has not done it yet. All you have right now in your memory is the OLD, Failures, pains, disappointments etc.

Here God wants to start you afresh. Start you again, NOW.

This you NEW YEAR package from GOD. He never fails in His promises.

I will make you succeed where people are not likely to be successful.

Hear what HE says,

“I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert”.

The most unlikely place to find water is in the desert, correct? That’s where you will succeed. In the most unlikely place. God’s doing right!

There is nothing God cannot do.

This is your new year of New things. It is only God can do what no one else can do. God is the author.
