THE CONSECRATION OF THE VESSEL

AIM: To enhance believers understanding that consecration is man part or role to play in the kingdom of God.
INTRODUCTION
Part of God’s perfect willnof man, is to draw man closer himself after He brought the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt, His original plan was to write His law on their heart and not on the tablet of stone but they refuse to move closer unto God and ask only Moses to speak to God. They refuse to get consecrated.
LESSON OUTLINE
1. WHAT IS CONSECRATION?
- consecration means being separated amidst multitude in other To perform special duties for God
- It also means dedication unto God
- it means brokenness
- Setting apart for God to use
2. HOW TO BECOME A CONSECRATED VESSEL
- Coming and entering into the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ
- Forsaking the world and it’s works
- Having a contrite heart
- Continually growing in spirit by the word of God
- Constantly fellowship with God
3. ATTRIBUTE OF CONSECRATED VESSELS
- They are priest to God and man
- Determines the will of God
- Having God as the father
- Delivered for good people
BENEFITS OF BEING CONSECRATED VESSELS
- Enjoying the liberty of our Lord Jesus
- Free access unto God
- Becoming a vessel into honour
CONCLUSION
Our God is so holy that he cannot behold unholy things. An ordinary vessel cannot do extraordinary things in the kingdom of the father. God has a better plan, hope and future for man, he loves man so much and for once, he has never lost upon man. Hence, we as a vessel anso have the duty of to keep ourselves through the Grace of God that he appeared unto all men, as a pure, holy and honourable
