if we see the phrase The King rejoices in your power In the letter to the Hebrews chapter 12, verse 2 it was said of the Lord: who for the joy that awaited him, bear the cross despising the shame that it meant, --and ascended to the heaven-- and now he is sitting to the right of the throne of God. This verse speaks of the joy of the Lord in having obtained salvation for us and He rejoiced in the power and strength that were placed upon Him. He has ascended into heaven, and the angels and powers have been placed under His authority. And today He can save all those who approach God through Him.

"You have granted him the desire of his heart and you have not denied him the request of his lips, Selah"
When the Lord was presented to God His final report, when addressing Him in His Priestly Prayer, in the Gospel according to John, chapter 17: 1 said: Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, so that your Son also may glorify you. This prayer, as well as all the other requests that the Lord Jesus Christ made, have been and will be answered, as we can see in this prayer. This was the prayer of the Ascension. He is now to the right of God. Observe the phrase you have granted the desire of his heart.

When he was here on earth the Lord could say (as we see in John 17:24) 24Father, those you have given me, I want that where I am, they also be with me, so that they may see my glory that you have given me, because you have loved since before the foundation of the world. This prayer will be answered in the future when we are with Him. He came to earth to make that meeting possible. The Father did not deny him the request of his lips. And here it says "Selah", that is, we should meditate on it.
