THE TRAGEDY OF SIN

Life keeps on moving faster each passing day,new things keeps on coming,technology keeps on advancing and patterns of nature keeps on changing but the truth of the matter is that the tragedy of sin still remains the same.

This subject is inexhaustible.Certainly there would not be time for a general discussion on the subject during the family devotion and sunday school morning services.

We must understand that ,it is important because it touches the life of everyone.A closer look at Romans 3 :23 "since all have sinned and continue to fall short of God’s glory"

We are considering three -sub themes here ;Namely:

A life in sin is a life of tragedy because

The tragedy of sin is : when finished;...

Sin is a tragedy in that one day God might withdraw the Holy spirit

A LIFE IN SIN IS A LIFE OF TRAGEDY BECAUSE;

It will bring wreck to peaceful happy homes.The proverb made a strong point about a life in sin "Righteousness makes a nation great, but sin diminishes any people"

The tragedy of sin breaks the love that binds a happy family together.It brings Shame to individual lives remember is real like cancer ,flu or any other life treating disease.

It is the lust of the world that brings men to ruin.Sin will destory the influence of the child of God.The example of Lot in Genesis 19.What a tragedy for one who is saved to lose their influence.

THE TRAGEDY OF SIN IS : SIN ,WHEN FINISHED;....

NOTE:The tragedy of sin is : Sin , when , finished , bringeth forth death.
James 1:15 " When that desire becomes pregnant, it gives birth to sin; and when that sin grows up, it gives birth to death."

The rich man in hell fire ,life living in sin is bound to face alot if not changed.Stop swimming in sin whiles there is time.

SIN IS A TRAGEDY IN THAT ONE DAY GOD MIGHT WITHDRAW THE HOLY SPIRIT:

NOTE: Sin is a tragedy in that one day , God might withdraw the Holy spirit.Hear John 6 :44 "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him to life on the last day."
