Read 1 John 2:15 "Do not love the world, or the things that are in the world, if anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him."

When we speak of the world we refer to the value system and the dominant culture in a society. Although the believer lives in the world and must study, work, have a place to live and relate to other people, he can not take as his own the principles that govern the worldly culture and morality that changes according to the times and situations.

• The call of the world.
  a) A call to sin Luke 12:19 The rich fool was only thinking about eating, drinking and rejoicing.
  b) A call to slavery John 8:34 The system of the world enslaves people, they begin to practice certain vices, alcohol, drugs, uncontrolled sex, and then they want to leave those practices and can not do it.

• The character of the world.
  a) Sin deceives 2 Corinthians 4: 4 The god of this century blinded the understanding of the unbelievers. "The devil deceives people by telling them that it will give them satisfaction, pleasure and some, but then they end up paying with AIDS, the destruction of the family and death.
  b) Sin destroys, the process of sin is the temptation that is conceived in the mind, then comes the sin itself and finally the death.

• The control of the world.
  a) Control your attitude, friendship with the world is anemistad against God. If the world dominates us, we can not approach God.
  b) Control your desires 1 Timothy 6:10 The world produces an exaggerated desire for material goods, and the love of money is the root of all evils.
  c) Control your actions Galatians 5: 19-21 All the behaviors mentioned in this passage are a consequence of sin and the world's value system.

• he pollution of the world
  a) It contaminates the head Romans 1:21 Thoughts are vain. It begins to always think badly, to doubt all people, to see only the negative of life.
  b) Contaminates the heart Matthew 15:19 From what is in the heart come out the bad attitudes of the abundance of the heart speaks the mouth.

The enemy will always try to take us away from where God wants us to be. That is why we must be very careful of our surroundings, not everyone who claims to be your friend wants good for you.
