The consequences of sin

Iniquity and impurity make God angry because we involved in them, His creation takes him and his name and the world for granted believing that He will neither do good or evil ( Zephaniah 1 : 12 ).
Impurity weakens God's protection and shield around his children so that they become vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy.
The destruction of Judea was planned by god because they treated him and his word with contempt and trampled underfoot, the covenant that had been sustaining them.
The judgement God plan for Judah was so great that only true repentance would save them, but the corruption had eaten too deep into them that they did not turn to the Lord.
The same warning to Judah is been given to every individual chuch and nations especially nigeria today just as in the case of Judah, the people do they are not heeding God's warning. This is why the judgement of the Lord is imminent. Let us turn to our God and live but if we refuse, the lord said that he is angry with the wicked everyday ( psalms 7 : 11 ). Look unto Jesus and live.
