True Riches --- Devotional

Chosen: From the beginning, God made us apart of His plans (Ephesians 1:5). God chose us to be His own although we did not deserve such opportunity.

Redeemed: Jesus Christ paid the debt to set us free from sin so that we may no longer be held the bondage of sin. The price of our redemption was the precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross (1 Peter 1:18-19).

Justified: We ,all, were guilty of disobedience against God almighty. Nonetheless, when we fix our trust in Jesus as our Lord and personal Savior, we are declared justified, and God treats us as not guilty persons (Romans 3:23-24)

Reconciled: Due to our sins, we were completely at odds with God. However, through His Son, Jesus Christ, we have been brought back into a right relationship with God. (2 Corinthians 5:18)

Forgiven: God has forgiven all our iniquities; it is a “done deal.” Regular confessions and repentance from sinful habits and nature maintains our health communion with God. (1 John 1:7,9)

Freed from condemnation: The Law was given to us so that we may understand the standards of God. Jesus came to fulfill the law, and the finished works of Christ counts on behalf of us. We are, therefore, unbounded to pursue holiness without fear of punishment should we fail. (Romans 8:1-4)

True riches are spiritual, and grace has made us wealthy and worthy people. Let us never be obilivious to these remarkable statements. Stay blessed.
