Seek God in youth
We read in the book of Ecclesiastes 11.9 Be happy, young in your youth and take pleasure in your heart in the days of your adolescence and walk in the ways of your heart and in the sight of your eyes but know that above all these things God will judge you
The young man can live as he pleases but there is a warning from God, however you live God will judge you by your actions whether good or bad
I want to remind you as a young person that life is temporary but death is eternal, therefore we must remember God while we are young
We must revere God as the creator who makes all things perfect by following the advice of his own will
We also read in Ecclesiastes 12.1:
Remember your creator in the days of your youth before the bad days come and the years of which you say come: I have no contentment in them, before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars darken and the clouds return after the rain
The darkness evokes the clouds that overshadow the vision especially in old age, the clouds probably constitute a reference to the depressive feelings that assail the elderly
That's why my advice is that today you're looking for God with all your heart
¡The wise youth seeks God, the wise youth delights in God!
In 2 Timothy, Paul is speaking to Timothy, a young man whom he discipled and whom he taught. Timothy's grandmother and mother had won it for Christ. And Timothy was a man who from a young age was pastoring the church in Ephesus. The Church of Ephesus became the largest church in the world. And in 2 Timothy 3:14 Paul says: 14 "But you persist in what you have learned and persuaded yourself, knowing from whom you have learned." Notice that he was persuaded, he was convinced about his beliefs. And he says in verse 15: 15 "and that since childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which can make you wise for salvation through the faith that is in Christ Jesus.
