WALKING IN THE AGENDA OF GOD

in #steemchurch6 years ago

In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth. He commanded light to come into existence through his word. He made the firmament, waters, dry land, plants, stars and all living creatures and he saw that they all were good.

Genesis 1:26-28 reveals that

God made man in His image and after his likeness. He gave man dominion over the fish of the sea, fowl of the air and over all creatures upon the earth.

Male and female, he created man; blessing them he said, be fruitful and multiply and replenish the earth and subdue it. The scripture recorded again in the last verse of that same first book of the Bible that God saw every thing that he made and he affirmed that it was good.

From the story of creation, we can conclude that it's God's ultimate intention to see that all his creatures (with man as the Centre) remains in perfection, freedom and enjoy supernatural abundance.

Death, curses, lack, strife, enmity, labour, stress, sickness, sorrow, hunger, evil... were not existent then because it negates the agenda of God.

THE FALL OF MAN

Unfortunately for Adam and Eve our first parents, they fell under the deceptive power of the devil.

Genesis Chapter 3 records the fall of man (through the act of disobedience to God's will). It was in this place that man went against the agenda of God.

This incidence introduced the corruption to this divine will by threatening its manifestation. Romans 6:23 says that the wages of sin is death. The Bible also says that by the disobedience of Adam, death came into the world (Romans 5:17)

Man lost his freedom which left him in bondage, as labour, curses, lack, strife, sickness, sorrow and evil came into this world.

DIVINE RESTORATION

Despite man's fall, God never gave up on us. Lamentations 3:22-23 says

It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning, great is thy faithfulness.

Our hope is the gift of eternal life by Christ who came to die for us.

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. (Romans 5:9-10)

Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. (Romans 12,14)

For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many. And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification. For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. (Romans 5:15-18)

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 5:19-21)

Therefore, let us walk in his eternal life today, because to walk in God's agenda, is to live out who he has called us to be.

Walking in God's agenda is more like working with God's plan in mind. We live in a time that so many obstacles are there to stop us from faithfully walking with God. But we can walk with God figuratively by analysing those whom walked with God it the past, comparing their conditions qith that of ours. We definitely do not want to walk like Adam and Eve, they didn't walk with God. Studying negative effects of those who didn't walk with God is also beneficial.

Exactly, thanks for sharing, Apostle.

Thanks for this wonderful message @hornblende. It's never too late for you to step into God's plan for your life and accomplish the purpose for which He created you. If you think you've missed it somehow by not cooperating with Him, simply repent and express your willingness to be and do all He desires. Before you know it, you'll see that, like Jesus, you are anointed to preach the good news, heal the brokenhearted and set the captives

Man fell the first time through a tree and by a tree, he has been saved

Walking in the agenda of God requires working with God's plan in mind, sin may derail us from the path he has set for us but through constant prayer and hardwork with faith, his plans will surely come to fruition in our lives.

Sin broke the very committed relationship between God and man,but however God atill refused to give up on us because of his overwhelming love.

Our hope is the gift of eternal life by Christ who came to die for us.

Adam and eve brought about a pause of God's fellowships with man, that was why they stepped out of God's agenda for their lives indeed.
However the restoration power of Jesus made it possible to reunite the fellowship and made man able to walk in his original purpose of living a life of grace, void of sin, and service to God.

This year, for example, I still work part-time at my job, write articles for my website and continue to minister regularly, often traveling to different states and out of the country. I also attend church and special meetings on a regular basis and find time to enjoy my grandchildren. Walking in the destiny of God is fun and exciting.

In fact, I see no reason why we can't experience life as Moses did until the end of our days. The Word of God tells us that although he was old when he died (120 years), his eyes were not dim and his strength was not abated (see Deut. 34:7). I rejoice that I can give a similar report. Although I am up in years, I have no lack of vitality and see perfectly with the glasses God provided.

In order to walk in the fullness of God's plan for our lives, however, we have to change the way we see ourselves. We are not weak, ineffective and purposeless—or too old to make a difference. God's plan does not have time limits like a parking meter. It doesn't have to be fulfilled before you reach a certain age or end when your children are grown up or you stop receiving a paycheck.

God has had thoughts "to give you a future and a hope" (Jer. 29:11c) since before you were conceived. And He created you and equipped you to bear fruit until the day you leave this Earth.

Do you know that those who do whatever God wanted never lacks any thing.
Brethren be ready to take up whatever God has directed you to do wheatherti your advantage or to your disadvantage. He will always stand for you in what ever you do.
The story if Adam and eve is what we all should learn from God made an agenda for both Adam and eve and gave them all they wanted , they went away and do what they thought was right for then that was not God planned for them.
We as Christains should always do what has plan for us and not what men has planned for us do not fall into what is not mearnt for you.

Gods plan for us should never be doubted as it contains so many goodies. We fell but he never stopped loving us he has been willing to shelter us even when we go against his will. God has always been faithful, therefore let us seek restoration.
