STEEMCHURCH: Try hard and be brave
(Josue 1: 9)
9 See that I command you to be strong and courageous; Do not fear or be dismayed, for Jehovah your God will be with you wherever you go.

God commands us to strive and be courageous, as our Father sends us beforehand to be so because in this world there are many adversities, problems, obstacles, battles, etc ... so many things that can be presented to us each day and every day we have to make an effort and be brave to fight to be able to achieve the challenges that every day we are often presented.
This verse is one of the things we must keep in mind, it is something we will always use for each day God gives us that mandate because He assures us that He will be with us wherever we go, for that reason we should not hesitate battles, storms, because God will always be with us at our side to guide us, to take care of all the evil that wants to get up, Jehovah will always keep his word.
God looks for wrestlers, warriors, brave and courageous children. if I give you an example it would never end because in the bible there are so many characters that have shown each of these characteristics as:
- Warriors like King David
- Fighters like Jacob when I fight with the Angel to have the blessing, and like Sanzon
- Courageous as Queen Esther presented herself before King Ahasuerus without being called to save her people
- Enforced as josue and calet.
And there are many more that showed all these powerful virtues. But do you know why these people acted like this, even knowing that they could be in danger of dying?
Because these biblical characters know that God would never break the promise he said in this verse.

9 See that I command you to be strong and courageous; Do not fear or be dismayed, for Jehovah your God will be with you wherever you go.
They trusted in God and knew that He was there with them, wherever they go. They acted by Faith.
So we too must act with faith in God, knowing that every step we take God will be there on our side
knowing that in every fight we are going to do God will be on our side
knowing that in every battle God will be with us
knowing that at the moment when we must be brave, God will be there, He will always be for that reason strive and be courageous without hesitation.

That's all Old Testament stuff. It has very little application to the Christian life.
