STEEMCHURCH| A Call to Unity!

A Mentor taught me on one occasion that, the church is not an organization but an organism. For obvious reasons that Jesus instituted us as his Body.

The Church is the body of Christ where it is manifested, in the diversity of members and functions, the unity, sharing, solidarity and love that are essential for the saving proposal that Christ presents to us.

Your attention please in the following sentences:

There should be no individual goals within the community, everything should be directed to build the only "Body of Christ", in view of the divine project of the Kingdom and, in the objectives that we hope to achieve in the chain of blocks!

Sirs! Let no one lose the perspective of what the presence of steemchurch means here.

The Church is a family of brothers, who live in communion, who respect each other and who love each other. That is why communities divided by envy, selfish and petty interests, and contempt for others are unacceptable for the Christian life. The Christian must use the charisms that God entrusts to him for the service and promotion of the brothers and for the growth of the community.

I therefore, imprisoned in the Lord, I beg you to walk worthy of the vocation with which you were called, with all humility and meekness, bearing with patience one another in love, solicitous to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond peace; a body, and a Spirit, as you were also called in the same hope of your vocation; a Lord, a faith, a baptism, a God and Father of all, which is above all, and by all, and in all.
Ephesians 4: 1-6

The diverse members live in communion of solidarity, in an effective solidarity with their members. The dramas and sufferings, joys and hopes of our brothers and sisters must be felt by all the members of that body, that is, the community. Each brother must feel co-responsible in the construction of that community of which we are members and carry out our mission responsibly.

Paul affirms that the Church is a "body", the "Body of Christ". Naturally, that "body" is made up of many members, all of them diverse; but they all depend on Christ, the "head" of that "body", and receive from Him the same life. Therefore, they form a unit. They have the same Father (God), they have a common project, that of Jesus, they have the same goal, to be part of the family of God and to find life in fullness, they walk in the same direction animated by the same Spirit, they have the same mission that is to bear witness in the world of the project of love that God has for men.

The disciple of Christ must fight for this Unity and this Peace. You have to want, decide and build the Unit. For unity to be possible, Paul recommends to the disciples of Christ humility, meekness and patience. (Ephesians 4: 1-6)
