A worldwide study of Monster reveals that 87% of workers do not accept recognition of work done by another person as their own. 73% say they prefer to receive congratulations for their personal work.

Except for honorable exceptions, it is common for the coordinator of a project to be covered, alone, with the harvested laurels, forgetting to give due recognition to those who played the most important roles in the achievement of a good result.

The survey reveals that 14% of the respondents have not accepted to take the credit for the work of others, although they do confess that they have been tempted to do so. A brazen 9% says they do not usually admit to having done a good job carried out by their peers, while 4% say they have done it only once.

The results of this study carried out among almost 19,000 workers in Europe and Canada show that Spaniards are the most honest, with 85% of workers who say they accept congratulations only for the work they have personally developed. Professional integrity is also widespread in Switzerland (77%) and Canada (76%), where 3 out of 4 respondents say they prefer to receive professional merit for their own work.

This attitude has a negative effect on the team, because psychologically and spiritually, most people give their best, to feel useful in life.

It is general knowledge that a motivated employee becomes much more productive, creative, able to solve problems, create new tools for the company, motivate their other colleagues. A motivated employee is happy in his job. Professional recognition is important in the work environment and contributes positively to productivity as well as contributes to the organizational climate. But...

Why is professional recognition so important to organizations?

Professional recognition is an essential part in the life of every human being, mainly in the professional field. When obtaining recognition for the work done and for the results obtained, the tendency is for your collaborator to feel more motivated and proactive, thus causing their growth in the company.

There are scientific studies that show that there is a part of the brain dedicated to reward and motivation. When this system is activated automatically, the person in a matter of time will release chemicals that will cause him to become more committed, proactive and focused on his goals. Knowing this, I thought it was incredible!

Considering @steemchurch as a church focused on the growth of the whole community, it is important to note that many people from different parts of the world attend with a diversity of expectations, with the multiform divine grace to bless and be blessed reciprocally.

The best resource that a company or an organization like the Church can have, will always be the people, God has been pleased to work with man to make a change in society. Recognizing the potential of each person will allow us to consolidate the community more.

It is also important to consider not getting frustrated when you do not have that recognition in companies. If this culture did not exist in the workplace, everyone can praise themselves and motivate themselves.

ps. as a reader (and professional social media marketer) I would recommend not to center your publications. It's really hard to read and you're increasing amount of people who will abandon reading your post.
