Hosea Chapter 4 Verse 6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Never before have people had so much information at their fingertips. Through mass communication it is possible to discover almost anything and yet many ignore the obvious signs around them.
So many nations have gone after the thrill of self-indulgence and the consequences are that families are destroyed through divorce; all boundaries of decency are broken.
Where there is no faithfulness, no love and no acknowledgement of God in the land, there will be disaster.
Hosea brings this indictment to the foot of the religious leaders of the day and blames them saying my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
In the seeming prosperity of many parts of the ,world, this accusation stands true even today. Those Who are charged with teaching the people of'God are often slow to pronounce that those who stand against the clear teaching of scripture stand against God.
Some will think that if they stand true to the Word of God, they will be seen as judges of others or extremists. But this is not the case. It is not the preacher's job to condemn but to declare‘what God had both done and said.
The people of the nations are being destroyed from the lack of knowledge of the love of God. Each time the scripture reprimands, it is to bring us to the arms of a loving Father; and not to trample the souls of ‘ burdened mankind.
Many have rejected God because they do not see Him and this is because Christians fail to show their God.
The power of God is limited because the church thinks more highly of itself than of its head.
Then so often the love and salvation of Christ is kept in the inner sanctuary of church meetings and not shared with those outside, the people do not know God.
We must never hide the blessings God can give from others; for then truly God's peeple will indeed be destroyed by lack of knowledge.

When we keep on seeking for knowledge, we will get it. The internet makes knowledge in all areas of life readily available. It would be wise on our part to use such tools.

The internet makes knowledge readily available at our finger tips, the steemchurch is becoming a knowledge bank on the blockchain where we can access information and understand Jehovah and His Word from various teachings by different minds.
What some people don't realize is that ignorance is curse, it makes you backward, knowledge is key to be powerful, spiritually and interllectually powerful!

Knowledge is power, knowledge is priceless in other words the knowledge of having to know Jesus Christ as the Lord and saviour of the world is a freedom from ignorance.
That's why the children of Israel enjoyed the blessings of God.
As ambassador if Christ, we must impact the knowledge of Christ to the world so as to take away ignorance and show people the truth

Always seek knowledge and change by applying it, To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often. Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future. The best changes often start as single, simple thoughts of God’s word. Think God’s way, and discover how to make our vision real.
Ignorance has eaten deep into the fabric of our existence and we can see the result in africa,for us to do his will we must seek first the heavenly knowlege and wisdom if not what we may think as human that is his will may be wnrirely wrong.
As children of God we ought to run away from ignorance and seek for knowledge from God asap. He has given us the virtue to acquire knowledge. Let us endeavour to always be with our bible so that we can get yo know what wisdom God speaks of.
The rest of verse 6 helps explain: “Because you have rejected knowledge, I reject you from being a priest to me. And since you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children” (KJV). It’s important to note the structure of the verse: “rejected knowledge” is parallel to “forgotten the law.” This fits the context of the opening verse of the chapter, which states that Israel failed to acknowledge the LORD as their God (Hosea 4:1). The people did not simply lack knowledge; they actively rejected it.
Another parallel offers a deeper understanding of the passage. Because Israel had “rejected” knowledge (God’s Law), God would “reject” them. Because Israel had “forgotten” God’s Law, He would “forget” their children (He would remove His future blessing from the nation). As a result of God “rejecting” and “forgetting” Israel, they would be destroyed. Hosea’s message is in line with Moses’ warning to the nation that God would remove His blessing from a disobedient people (Deuteronomy 28).
Hosea 4:1-2 emphasize that Israel’s lack of knowledge was not mere ignorance, but active sin against God: “There is no faithfulness or steadfast love, and no knowledge of God in the land; there is swearing, lying, murder, stealing, and committing adultery; they break all bounds, and bloodshed follows bloodshed.” The people were only ignorant of the Law because they actively ignored it.
Ignorance is the worst enemy of the church, not the devil......
