DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK GOD

Those who know God hardly rely on human instincts. Even when they are sure of what to do, they still crosscheck with God. That was why Jehoshaphat asked for a divine guidance when he was invited by the king of Israel to help him in a battle against Moab.

Their enquiry yielded good results and that was supposed to be a small thing. God promised to give them easy victory over their common enemy

King James Bible Version of Isaiah chapter 45 verse 11 says:

Thus saith the Lord, the Holy One of Israel and his Maker, Ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the works of my hand, ye me

However, do not take any decision until you are sure God has spoken. It may require your patience. Wait until you are sure.
God will make a way for you. You will not be left confused.

The kings went to enquire about the strategy to adopt in the battle against Moab. But God gave them victory on a platter of gold. He also quenched their thirst and those of their armies.

King James Bible Version of 2nd Kings chapter 3 verse 17 says

Thus saith the Lord, ye shall not see wind, neither shall ye see rain, yet the valley shall be filled with water, that ye may drink, ye, and your cattle and your beasts.
