Do You Thank God When Times Are Bad?
Then Job stood up, tore his robe, shaved his head, fell to the ground, bowed very low, and exclaimed: “I left my mother’s womb naked, and I will return to God naked. The LORD has given, and the LORD has taken. May the name of the LORD be blessed.” Job neither sinned nor charged God with wrongdoing in all of this. John 1:20-22

How often do you thank God ? Do you do it at all times or only in good times? thanking God should be done at all times just like Job did.
A man who was so blessed and had amassed great wealth lost everything overnight.
It was God who allowed the enemy to penetrate His defense a cause a great havoc in the life of Job. He lost everything, none was left to even give him comfort, the enemy killed his children, made his wife divorce him and then inflicted his body with sores yet Job still hold on to his integrity and never sinned against God.
Job remembered that it was the same God who had given him everything he had for he was naked when he came out of the his mothers womb. He brought nothing to this world and if not for God's grace he wouldn't have had any the things the devil destroyed.
Job blessed the name of the Lord instead of sitting and silence and crying all day about his predicaments. He neither charged God with wrongdoing in all in all this but continued blessing His name.
I wonder how many of us will be able to do this or behave this way. Many Christians think Christianity is life of no hardship but only good times. They praise and thank God when all is well with them but suddenly change and begin to blame Him and become angry when God they go through trials or hard times.

Our walk with God is by faith and not by sight, if you can thank God for the good things he has done then learn also to thank Him when you experience the bad for it an act of faith that moves God to the scene of your affliction to render His helping hand.
God is delighted and honoured when we praise Him at all times so learn to thank and praise Him today. God bless you richly
