"I have received flashes of light, and those flashes come from God, but the lantern is you."

These have been the words I received in these days from a sister. Since then I have not been able to stop thinking about them not only because they sound beautiful, but because they are loaded with such a profound truth. For this reason I have decided to write something about this.

We are the vessels of God, the vessels that he pleases to use for his glory and honor in order to attract more souls to his kingdom. The mere fact of knowing that we are fulfilling His purpose should not only excite us but also feel our hearts flooded with love knowing that he chose us to be instruments of his power, his glory and his honor.

I smile when imagining that among so many people he fixed his eyes on me, in which he named me and I am his property. He chose me among many of his purposes so that through what I write or say many people can be ministered and can remember how great is the love that God has for each one of them.

It is important that you remember that through everything you do for the love of God and for the benefit that lives are reached and restored, you are a blessing. Certainly our flashes come from God, he blows on us a shine and a special splendor. And although many times we do not notice where we stand, we make a difference. How beautiful that God reminded me through this little sister that I am a flashlight. And the lantern provides light in the midst of darkness. That little llama makes the difference between seeing something or not seeing anything. All of us are little lamps in which God deposits his oil and anointing if we look for him and we want to make a difference.

Every time we emit a flash of light in someone's life, our Father rejoices because the essence of God is love and he is all light. When we live trying to follow his example, the Father proudly is pleased and receives that offering, that service that we are humbly giving him. Therefore, you should not forget that everything you do must be done as if it were for God. That is what makes the real difference. When we think that in doing good we are doing it to God, our heart overflows with a joy and pleasure that nothing and nobody in the world can take away from us.

But if your life lacks oil, if the glass of your lantern is broken, you can go right now to the altar of reparations of God in prayer. He will make you a useful flashlight and shine everywhere. You my brothers are so valuable to God and he wants you to remember that they are something like those little stars that illuminate the sky in the middle of the night.

Each one of you has a special light that illuminates the darkness that often invades this world, therefore, do not let our little lamp stop emitting the light of Christ.
