EPISODE VI
HOLD ON TO CHRIST

The land of ogudu was one of the oldest tribes in Africa that practises the ancient tradition of their fore-fathers. They believe so much in the ofo (the staff of authority) and respects it so well. They believe that the OFO gives them life and makes them live longer and also enable their land to live in peace and people fruitful. The OFO is been kept by the oldest man in the community (known as the Ojiofo) after he has passed on, the OFO will be handed over to the next in line as the oldest man in the community. This culture has been going on like that for years and the OJIOFOR'S are very respected people.

So it came the time of Chief madu, the ojiofor of ogudu kingdom, he was made the ojiofor few days after his wife delivered a baby boy. He accepted the ofor to his home and the people was happy, but strange things started happening to him, he started having strange dreams and other evil attacks, without being told he knew that all those things were associated to the ofor in his home. He told his wife about it, and few days after he told his wife of his strange experience, a strange illness befell him which eventually killed him after sometimes. This time his son (ogu) was very young. The ofor was then passed to another person.

When the child (ogu) came up to age, the mother decided to make known to him what took the life of his father, her beloved husband.

She told him how her husband went through strange illness since the day he accepted the ofo to their house, that the ofo is evil, and nobody that have kept the ofo in the kingdom has lived over 5 years after accepting the ofo.

Shortly after the mother opened up to her son about the ofo, she too joined her ancestors.
There came a time when the child (ogu), has grown so much to become a father, and had two children a boy and a girl. that they announced the death of the current Ojiofo who had been handed over the ofo last five years. Having known the truth about this ofo, he concluded he will never have anything to do with it. The time came that the chief priest summoned him, to inform him of the news that he will be the next to carry the ofo, he immediately turned them down, and they were really surprised because nobody have ever done such, and they believe that after eight days if the ofo was not passed to another person, great calamity will befall the land and people will die.

One day, Ogu Called his family together to tell them the misery behind the ofo of their land and the reason he will never accept the ofo into his compound, and they liked and supported their father, especially his son @bigsam.

The whole kingdom was against ogu for wanting to bring calamity upon their land, and many times the youth of ogudu kingdom protested to ogu's house and demand that he accept the ofo In good fate, but despite all, ogu stood on his ground not to accept the ofo into his compound. This angered the elders of the land and they plotted to kill ogu so as to give the ofo to the next in line, but taking anothers life was a taboo their land.

On the 7th day, a day before the ofo will finally be passed to the new holder, ogu committed suicide, which shocked the whole kingdom. The chief priest asked for time to talk to the gods, to know whom they have chosen to carry the ofo since ogu is dead. The family of ogu was in serious tears, and because ogu took his own life, the community decided to send his body to the evil forest and not to be buried in their land.

Two days after the body of ogu has been sent to the evil forest, the chief priest came with this news:-

The gods has decided that @bigsam will be the next Ojiofo, that the ofo must find his way to ogu's family. "The gods have spoken.

This angered @bigsam who was still morning ogu his father, and he angrily went to the house of the former oldest man, where the ofo is kept and set the ofo ablaze. Immediately there was a dark cloud. And the villagers stated seeing strange faces. Everybody was in fears, the youths and the older people.

Meanwhile, God has appeared to His true servant @degreatmyke in a nearby village to go and rescue the people of ogbudu, he went immediately he got the revelation, he went in company of his prayer team @ladywayne1, @izurich20 and @dwayne16, immediately they got there, they discovered that the forces behind the ofo has inflicted madness on @bigsam and immediately they entered his compound, they started praying for him, @bigsam came back to his senses when @degreatmyke placed his hand on his face, when he came back to his senses a great thunder stroked down the temple of ofo and the kingdom experienced light again. They all gathered at ogu's compound and the world of God was preached to them, they all gave their lives to Christ and forsake the ways of ofo. The village heads crowned @bigsam the king of ogudu kingdom. And he ruled in the principles and ways of Jehovah God Almighty. A very big church was built in the community called STEEMCHURCH, with @bigsam the head. They all experienced true progress and prosperity.
And all were truly Christians.
