This is the worst time to be dividing!
I like to think about the persecution that the saints of the ancient past endured. Yet, we see the fruit of their persecution today. The apostles were basically all killed and yet their hard work and perseverance paid off. Now more people today believe in the Messiah than at any time before. The bad thing is that Satan deceived everyone into believe a false name.
It's to be expected if you're doing something right.
Yet, sometimes it is persecution that makes a soul grow even more in maturity. Look at the ancient apostles. They learned much about human nature through their persecutions. They suffered greatly standing up for the truth. Yet, the fruit of what they had to go through can be seen throughout the world today. Granted they are turning in their graves (so to speak) at how the preachers of today have twisted and warped their teachings in the name of profit
