The practice of the happy man.

Greetings my friends of steemit God bless you.

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor in the seat of mockers has sat down "

This verse declares the practice of the happy man. A little further on in this Psalm we will see the power of the happy man and, finally, his permanence. In this first verse we see the negative side of the practice of the happy man. We are told what the happy man does not do. Here we see three positions or positions. According to this verse the happy or happy man is the one who (1) does not walk, or does not follow the advice of the wicked (2) does not stop on the path or path of sinners and (3) does not sit with the scoffers to cultivate their friendship. The person who does these three things, is not a happy person. It goes through these three stages: first it is associated with the bad ones, then it shares the path of the sinners and then it joins the blasphemers.

Definitely, here there is regression, deterioration and degeneration. You can notice the steps that are taken in the process. (1) The happy man does not follow the advice of the wicked. He does not listen to the wicked. Have you noticed that even the Lord Jesus never referred to His own reason or to His own mind as the basis of a decision? Everything He did was based on the will of God. He never told His disciples: "Comrades, let's go to Galilee again, I've been considering it and since I'm smarter than you, I think this is the best we can do according to my point of view." That was not the way he approached His disciples. He always said: "I'm going to Jerusalem because it's my Father's will." He spent time with His Father, and knew what His will was and based on it, he moved to certain areas.

Dear steemit friend, it's one thing to listen to advice, and good advice is fine; but clearly, the advice of the wicked no. We have to live by faith and to resort to the advice of the wicked is not to walk by faith. Who are the wicked, the wicked? Those people who leave God out of their lives. They have no reverent fear of God. They live as if God did not exist. At present, around us there are multitudes of people like these. They get up in the morning, they never address God in prayer, they never thank Him for the food they have, neither for life nor for health. They just keep moving through life having a great time. They have left God totally apart from his existence.

The wicked advise a man and then we find him (2) transiting the path of sinners. The bad guy is the one who seizes him there. Sin means "to miss the mark." That is, they do not live in the way they should live. To them the Scripture refers when it says in Proverbs 14:12, There is a way that seems right to a man, but it is a path that leads to death. And later, in Proverbs 16: 2 it says: All man's ways are clean in his own opinion. The sinner may think he is right, that all is well in his life, but he is a sinner. The Word of God says, in Isaiah 55: 7, Let the wicked forsake his way and the wicked man his thoughts ... Also in the same book in 53: 6, We all went astray like sheep, each one turned away for his way, more the Lord burdened in him the sin of us all. The Father charged the Lord Jesus with the full weight of our guilt. It is that we are sinners and this is our portrait.

The next step of going the way or the path of sinners, is to descend even more and (3) to sit in the chair of the scoffers or, in other words, to cultivate the friendship of the blasphemers, the scoffers, or to make common cause with them. The blasphemers, those who mock, are the atheists. We have been told that this third stage is when the young person sits in the company of such people. Not only do they deny God but they show a hatred and antagonism towards God. We see this attitude everywhere. Those who despise and mock, they are those who are absolutely opposed to God. And they also show their opposition to the Word of God. If you want to know the attitude of God, you can see it in Proverbs 3:34, where the Scripture says: The Lord mocks mockers, but shows his favor to the humble. The Lord is opposed to those who show his scorn and mockery and He will mock them. By the way, the one presented here is a terrible image.
