Know the spirits.

Here begins by saying, In this, know the Spirit of God: And how are we to discern who has the Spirit of God? The apostle John told us the way: every prophet who recognizes that Jesus Christ has come in a human body, is of God. This is where it all started-in Bethlehem.
Jesus Christ was born in Bethlehem, and there he began his incarnation. Calvary and the garden tomb would have no meaning unless He was what He claimed to be, unless He was the God-man. The way you can distinguish false teachers is that they deny the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ. This does not mean that they do not speak well of Him. They highlight the remarkable youth that he had, and that it was a superior child who was born in the world. They say he was a religious genius and that he was saturated with God. They say that he probably had a greater knowledge of God than any other man. You can express the best praise about Him, but ask them: "Was God manifested in a human body?
The apostle John in his Gospel spoke of him as "the Word." Who was the Word? He was God, created all things and became incarnate in a human body. Where? There He arrived at Bethlehem, there the incarnation took place. When one denies the Incarnation, the deity of Christ, then one also denies His work on the cross, because it rests on what He is. False teachers try to nullify it, neutralize it, praise it. That is the way in which the Lord Jesus is treated today in many circles. But, He is who claimed to be: God, the same God.
Juan was directly confronted with Gnosticism, which was one of the first heresies. One of its branches said that Christ came upon Jesus at His baptism, and left Him at Calvary. And this is not what the Word of God teaches. The Word of God says that the child of Bethlehem was more than an extraordinary child, that His death on the Cross was not an ordinary death, and that when He rose from the dead, He ascended from the grave in bodily form.
The apostle Paul said in Romans 4:25 25 who was delivered for our transgressions, and risen for our justification. And the prophet Isaiah wrote in his 9: 6, Because a child has been born to us, a son has been given to us. The child is born, but a child is born. The Son came from eternity, from the so-called "Ancient of Days", but the son, in His humanity, was conceived in the womb of the Virgin Mary. And He came in Bethlehem, where some pastors and wise men came to worship Him. He was more than a beautiful boy.
He was the wonderful Prince of Peace who made peace through His blood shed on the cross, and who will one day bring peace to this world, burdened by the wars, in which we are living. The important thing is that we take note that this is the signal that identifies whether a person is a false prophet or not. Say this verse 2 in this know the Spirit of God. So we must know what a person believes about Jesus Christ.
