God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can't take credit for this; it is a gift from God.

A gift is something you receive from someone although sometimes people buy gifts for themselves which I don't consider as a gift. It's not a gift once you have offered it to yourself because you might have actually planned and worked towards it. A gift is something you did not work for or something you are not qualified to have, but someone thought it and decided to give it to you anyway. The greatest gift is the gift that contains all other gifts in it. The greatest gift is prime, it's the gift that you require to acquire every other gift. The greatest gift to mankind is the gift of GRACE

Grace is the favor of God to all mankind irrespective of who you are. As believers, our life is totally dependent upon the grace of God. We are been saved by grace through Christ Jesus. When you have exceeding grace, it means God's provision far exceeds your needs. Mercy covers your mess and mercy is by grace. Grace covers all our errors and colors our efforts. When grace is available it makes our work effortlessly. It takes only the grace of God.

There is nothing we can achieve on our own if not by the grace of God. Grace is the one way God makes up for our shortcoming. Through grace, we have the strength to do the impossible. Grace can be accessed at varying measures, but the question is what level can you access? Sadly, for most believers, the grace is available to us at any time. So, it's okay to remain stagnant in their Christian growth, but this is wrong. It is the will of God for every believer to continue in that intimate relationship with him, and not abuse the grace of God in our lives. There is a need to be personally committed to your growth. It's not all about how many times we attend church service. Jesus Christ died on the cross so that we will be saved by grace and have eternal life that should not be taken for granted, but should be enough reason to appreciate the grace of God that has been offered freely to mankind.

The fact that God has gifted us with the greatest gift, and has given us the opportunity to always ask for mercy doesn't give us the license to sin at will. There is great grace in the covenant and if we don't take the grace of God for granted, we will enjoy every provision accessible in. We need to always be on guard and use the grace of God to disarm the devil and his agents. Truly judging from the human angle many of us are not qualified to be saved because of the horrible things we have done in the past. This fact is not hidden. Sometimes, the devil tries to use it against us, but because we are given our life to Christ, all these things do not count anymore. God does not look at our past, He saved us anyway and wiped away our sin, and gave us a fresh start, this is the most beautiful thing that could ever happen to mankind. He made us a chosen generation, He chose to bless us with great abilities in spite of our past.

The grace of God has brought us Salvation and not our works. It is not because we are righteous. Remember our righteousness is like a filthy rag before the LORD. We are able to do exploits and fulfill our destiny all because we have the grace of God. The grace of God is available in abundance, but must not be taken for granted.

Why consider Grace as the greatest gift

• Key to salvation: God offered his son to die for our sin in order to save mankind. God saved us from the consequences of our sin. We do not deserve it, but it is a gift from God. His grace saved us all through Christ Jesus.

• It is the fountain of spiritual gifts: We are all blessed with a spiritual gift all because of God's grace. When we use any of these God-given gifts to serve others, it is an expression of God's grace and love. The gift of God is not measured by prayers, but only by His grace. It is the fountain of spiritual gifts.

• This is the source of all greatness: Behind everything great, there is grace. Grace is not a plus to destiny rather it is a call of destiny. Grace is the ladder to greatness; it is grace that decorates our efforts and turns them into results.

• Grace is the only sufficient thing in life: Grace cannot be measured. It is so sufficient that it covers our weaknesses through Christ Jesus. We are able to come to his throne of grace to ask forgiveness of our sins.

How to access Grace

• Humility: The Bible says he giveth grace to the humble. Humility is the ability to acknowledge your weakness. Absolute surrender to God in all honesty.

• Praise & worship: When we constantly praise and worship God it is easier for us to access his throne of grace.

• A grateful heart: Thanking God & acknowledging all he has done in your life knowing full well it is not by your power, but only by the special grace of God.

• Serve to others: God has bestowed upon every one of us a gift that can be used in service to others. When we constantly use our gifts to serve and show love to others, it makes it easier to access more and more grace.
