Examining yourself can verify if you truly consider yourself united to your Savior.

Greetings and blessings my dear friends of steemit.

"Above all principality and authority, power and lordship, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the age to come." He subdued all things under his feet, and gave him as head over all things to the church, which is his body, the fullness of the One who fills everything in everything. "

And so, the apostle Paul concluded his prayer with a high note. The church is an organism, it is the body of Christ, and Christ is the Head of the church. Some future day everything will be under His control. The writer of the letter to the Hebrews expressed it clearly in his chapter 2: 8, when he said: "You have put everything under his feet." As soon as he put all things under his control, he left nothing to be subject to, although we still do not see may all things be subject to him. "

In the present time the only thing that is under His control is the church. And by saying "church" we mean the true church, which is made up of true Christians, by authentic believers. There are many organized groups that identify as churches, but it would be necessary to evaluate if they listen and obey the Lord of the church. Because some sectors of Christianity seem to be paralyzed. It is that the most tragic vision of a child of God, figuratively speaking, is to contemplate him prostrate in bed, helpless, unable to get out of that situation, having lost his mental or spiritual capacity, as if his brain was separated from his body. Sometimes we have seen some who profess to be Christians, who act as if they were separated or distanced from Christ, who is the Head of the church. Dear listener, He said, in John 14:15, "If you love me, keep my commandments." In other words, I could move a finger or any other part of my body because my head controls the situation. And when He wants you to move, that is, to exercise any gift that He has given you, you will have to practice it with love; if not, it will mean that you are not united to Christ. And this has a great importance in the times we live. The apostle Paul illustrated the church and our relationship with it in the following manner in First Corinthians 12: 12-13, when he wrote: "12As well as the body is one, and has many members, but all the members of the body, many being , they form one body, so also is Christ.13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized to constitute one body, both Jews and Greeks, both slaves and free, and we were all given to drink from the same Spirit. What we have to see clearly is that Christ is the Head of the body, which is his church, and by being united to Him, we are all under His authority. In our next program we will begin to study chapter 2 of this letter to the Ephesians, in which we will see the church as a temple. But today, dear listener, we invite you to evaluate what condition your relationship with God is in, and by examining yourself you can verify if you truly consider yourself united to your Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.
