This Mega Super Star Steemer with the dreamy good looks is young, brilliant, successful and absolutely loaded with Steem Power! How loaded? He’s got over 3,500,000 of them? Shazzam!
After graduating from his studies of psychology and economics in 2013 @ned says “I fell in love with how Bitcoin worked and I quickly asked her to be my girlfriend. I spent every night with her thereafter!”
This passion soon bore a child as @ned became both the co-founder of Steem and the CEO of Steemit Inc.
Now watch @ned make Smart Media Tokens (SMTs) take the internet by storm beginning in 2018. Believe it!

In general there are solid reasons why richness and reputation shouldn't be equaled. Otherwise you could also say "Donald Trump [put a name here of any person which you don't like] has a very low reputation, but who cares, he is multimillionaire!"
However in case of @ned I agree with you: the comparable low reputation doesn't reflect his magnificent achievements.
THAT ONE was a MUST!

this Steem token really hit the trend.. except for the fact that no one so far was able to give me a clear explanation what it is..in a way that any average person would understand without having much technical knowledge

The truth is that, you are right, his innovations and foresights have brought a whole lot of people together, including us here commenting. I think @ned was think of a better way of of people in one community without the barrier of color or race, right here, its like family, i met some people wonderful, and i keep thinking if i get to meet ned my thank you to him will be amazing.

How about choosing one Steemian who stands out for the foreign communities, like the German, Nigerian or Korean?
It would be also an appreciation for us Steemians who write in both our native language and in English and push the whole platform more toward internationalization
I like your idea. I know some members of the German and Nigerian communities but not the Korean....so far!
Since I'm German myself most of my activ contacts happen to be German, even though I'm in Japan now and started writing in English from the very beginning. It seems to be more difficult to become recognizes on the "English market"
I'm connected to some Nigerians too but don't know any Koreans myself although their hashtag #kr is one of the most popular
