When You Hear Someone Say "Steemish" What Do You Think Of?

To All Of Our Members It Often Means Hope. For Many I think It At Least Means Hope For The Steem Block Chain. Recently we read an article which was extremely long but excellently put together. For members of Steemit that have invested their hard earned money into Steem and Steem Power they are looking for longevity and security. Ultimately to see a rise in the value of Steem is natural as an investor. Some might see Steem and Steemit as a place just to blog and don't even care that much about the value of steem they just love the atmosphere. There are several that completely disagree with Jerry as there are plenty of flags or downvotes on his post. If nothing comes from it but getting the community involved in conversation on how to make Steem better I think the post was a success.

However, I don't think @jerrybanfield is the kind of guy to work that hard putting all of that information together just to simply stike up a conversation. He could have just wrote a post with a big fat ? mark in the middle and got people talking. When you read the proposal for the first time if you have any distractions, I suggest you go back and read it again to make sure you did not miss anything. Overall there is no doubt that Jerry loves Steemit.com and in endeavoring to take Steemit.com to a whole new level. From the thousands of Upvotes... Yes Thousands I think he has a consensus from the people of the community to actually warrant a serious look into what he is planning.

When you hear someone say, "Steemish" what do you think about?

For those members already at https://SteemThat.com they think of Smart Media Token. For the rest of the Steemitverse they might think of it is as a cool word to throw around. When we purchased Steemish.com and filed for the trademark on both names we knew we were on to something big. Steemish to us could mean the funding we need to develop SteemThat.com into a serious portal for the SteemBlock chain. We were thinking of launching an ICO under Ether prior to the announcement of Smart Media Tokens... Since the announcement we launched a sample token system to measure and test in beta how we might imp-lement Steemish on SteemThat.com.

One thing we know for sure is that members of SteemThat.com love to earn tokens for writing and commenting, etc. With SteemThat.com we have a pretty cool social media aspect of the website that we currently reward users for posting on their wall, commenting, sending messages, making friends, and a whole lot more. We currently have made almost 10,000 transfers and tested various combinations of rewards.

How cool will it be to comment, upvote and publish Steemit posts from SteemThat.com and earn Steemish when you make friends, write on each others walls and private message each other? We think it would be awesome and are working hard to finish phase one and start dveloping phase 2. Who knows maybe one day you earn Steem for everything!

Sure @steemthat is a small promotion bot and https://SteemThat.com is built around minnows supporting each other using groups and auto share. Of course we are building and writing and encouraging others to do so to help new members joining steem and steemit overcome some hurdles. Why wouldn't we try to promote such a wonderful platform and help it and it's members grow? Some wouldn't perhaps because they are scared of change. Others might feat competition and organizing Budget proposals will bring tons of competition.

Whatever the objections to budget proposals might be I'm sure there is a solution that could still help move this agenda forward for the betterment of Steem. Even if we never get a single penny for driving traffic and new signups to Steemit, we like budget proposals for the platform. Even if we never get any acknowledgement for helping people engage more with Steem and Steemit we would love to see budget proposals succeed.

No matter how SteemThat.com and Steemish intermingle or collide we would love to see The Steem Budget Proposal Seriously Considered And Implemented On Some Level. Preferably not just to line the pockets of existing developed platforms but would settle for that as even that would give the platform a significant boost. We would like to be a part as a recipient but will keep raising capital external and develop as we can as funds allow.

Furthermore I would like to see a portion of the funds go to Ask Steem to help fund a side project of writing and organizing developer docs and tools. Where there are many many gaps. Perhaps a lot them enough funds to have a team that can fill them gaps in and have complete documentation. Working sample codes for all actions should be included to help spread Steem far and wide.
