THE DIARY GAME: MY BROTHERS DEATH THE MOST PAINFUL THING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO MY FAMILY THIS YEAR.

INTRODUCTION

Good day great steemians my name is @peterabagi an active member of steemalive community and a vibrant promoter of Steem under the Sim project anchored by Steem promoters club.

I had planned what my week should look like on the 17th of October, 2021. I planned I would be writing great content on Monday on steemit. I planned I would be going out for Aba road show from 9am to 1pm on Tuesday, I planned I would enjoy my CDS on Wednesday, I planned on go to work on Thursday and enter the weekend with another great road show which will pull alot of prospective steemians.

I was sure I will make a great deal by next week. Thanksgiving was another thing I was doing at this moment I was also thanking God for his faithfulness.

WHEN I WAS CALLED THE FIRST TIME

I was called around 4pm from makurdi, I was praying at this time and was informed that my brother the 5th child of my step mother was badly ill and at the hospital. I tried reaching him to pray with him on phone but I could not as he was so much manifesting the symptoms of what was wrong with him.

WHEN I WAS CALLED THE SECOND TIME

I was called the second time at about 11pm by my sister the second child of my step mom. In her tone she asked me if I had heard, I told her yes I was called and I tried praying for the situation at home.

After I responded she was quiet for a while then she said, my brother was gone. Immediately I heard this I ended my call, and immediately my heart was heavy, so heavy that tears started rolling out of my eyes down and touching my shirt as I was putting on a white T. Shirt.

WHO WAS MY BROTHER

My brother was a super humble mathematician who was teaching and developing a private high school called Golden college Yagba. He was a fine man born during the military regime of president Mohammed Buhari in 1983. He is a very popular man who doesn't look for trouble, He was one time senior prefect of his high school and one of the best graduating students.

My brother was in a serious relationship which we all were hoping he will get married this year or next but here we are today at his funeral.

WHAT ACTUALLY KILLED MY BROTHER

From this part of the world called benue when people die we most times consider it to be basically spiritual but for my brothers case I will say it was both spiritual and physical attact that killed him.

A dog bit my brother in the month of August and and I don't know if it was treated or not but this was basically what led to his death. It was really a painful death at that, because nobody would believe dog bit will take the life of my brother as he was not the first to have such an experience.

In the aspect of being spiritual, my brother didn't go to someones compound before the dog bit him, he was basically going to get call called down the street with two other friends when he a saw that dog by the road side and after about 1 minutes that dog left the bush and bit his leg. They looked for the dog but didn't find it.

Last weekend my brother died. He said his burial should be done within 7days and there should be no party. He said he is dying a painful death and apologize for any wrong he did to anyone.

BURIAL ARRANGEMENTS

My brothers wake keep will be happening today at federal low cost estate north bank makurdi from 6pm till dawn. I can imagine the crowd that will be coming to my fathers house.

The burial is schedule to hold on Tuesday in my village by 11am. I can imagine what it means to take a car to my village during the raining season when the roads are usually very bad.

This situation has really made all of us think alot but at this point what can we do or say. We wished it never happened but it has happened and now we pray for his soul to be with the Lord.

Life is sweet and death is bitter, death is not what we should experience but life.

I pray God will give my family the strength to bear this lost and move ahead although it is not easy but we can do it.
