Honestly when it comes to cat's, there are like a thousand stories than can be told... They are cute, troublesome domestic animals that I'm in love with.

The first time I saw a cat.. it was black in colour and everyone was running away from it, but I saw nothing to be afraid of, I actually petted it.. everyone said I must be some sort of witch 🤣🤣.

I fell in love with cats since that day and I always wanted to have one of my own.
But that wish was never granted because my family aren't really cat people... so I just got used to seeing it around and offering pats on their head.

That was until I was on my way back from school one day and my neighbors kids are telling me that there's a cat at home. I didn't believe them and thought they were just messing with me.
Until I got home and confirmed it, it was so cute... so small... and her colours were vibrant.. a mixture of Gold, Black and white.

The cat seemed to be just a few weeks old and for the first four days since it came to our house we never saw it... It was just crying and meowing and hiding... it didn't want to come out probably because it was still getting used to the environment.. Now this is my first time taking care of a cat.

I always said that when I have a cat I would give if a name... but we we're unsure of whether it was a male or a female cat.... We called a Vet doctor and he confirmed it was a female so we called her "FIONA" That is what we called her.

Slowly it started becoming used to us... Cats eat almost everything humans eat... Rice, Beans, Spaghetti. But they do have their favorites, they love coconut and Milk... They will lock their entire plate clean if you give that to them.. They also love fish a lot.. so be careful where you keep your fish.

Cats are very clean animals, there's no need to give them a bath all the time unlike dogs.
They keep their self clean with their tongue, that tongue is their special sponge, I can only marvel at how they keep themselves so clean just with their sponge, an yes cats don't like water... one time I tried bathing her... and she just stayed under a pile of clothes trying to fight of the water, I just laughed.

If you have a cat at home... be rest assured that snakes, Lizards, Wall geckos, Roaches, Rats and so many other creeping insects will be goners... your home will be free from all these pests that trouble you... I can personally testify to that.

Cats love playing and we got her a tennis ball which she plays with all the time...
Overtime the name that she answered really well was "Sweetheart" wherever she is when you call that name she just comes running to you.
When we're cooking she senses it and starts scratching the door or crying... when we met her in she starts rubbing herself on your legs.. it's like she's saying "Remember me"

They are very territorial animals and they mark their territory by sniffing and hovering around your legs. it's a very cute animal.
The do drink water but not all the time.

The only thing bad about them is that their faeces is very toxic and that's why from when they are young they need to be trained to go outside when they want to use the restroom.
When they go outside.. the dig a hole, do their business and cover it right almost leaving no trace.

Generally they are amazing animals and I love every minute I spend with Her.
