Hi Steemian friends, welcome to my blog. Today I am going to discuss about a domestic animal called cow. Cow are herbivorous mammals, they are very useful for mankind. In fact, farmers and individuals rare cow because of it's useful purposes.

Benefits of cow to human and agricultural sector.

Cow provides us with meat. Cow meat which is known as beef provides protein and essential nutrients to our body. In as much as it should be a healthy part of our diet, it should also be eaten moderately because it is high in cholesterol and saturated fat and can lead to fatty deposits in the blood. When it comes to the cow bone, it contains nutrients that also benefits human which include minerals, collagen and gelatin.

Another important benefit of cow to human is that it provides milk. Cow is an essential source of milk for humanity because milk has so many nutrients that help prevent diseases and also strengthens our immune system. From cow milk, other products like butter, cream, cheese etc. are produced. We also have cow leather which happens to be the most widely used form of leather. It can be used to produce so many leather products like shoes, belt, bags, car seats and more.

When it comes to the Agricultural sector, the main purpose of rairing cow is to make money. They are raised for their meat, milk and hides and all these products in the cow body can be a source of income to the farmer. Cow dung also is a natural manure that help to improve soil structure and fertility for our crops, it is also useful in producing fuel and biogas, it also serves as an insect repellent and it is utilized as a building material as well as raw materials for paper production.
