With the introduction of Smart Media Tokens, the awareness of Steem as a viable token (3 second transactions + no fees) and with so many projects promoting Steem to the world (Sndbox / Utopian / etc.), there's no doubt great things are coming for Steem. Hopefully the value of Steem will go up along the way as well.

I'm looking forward to further delegations to curation guilds (@ocd), spaminator and other awesome projects on the Steem blockchain that would encourage a growing userbase to keep themselves active.

I'm also constantly promoting Steem in my articles (1, 2) on my personal blog and they gets thousands of page views a day (around 150k a month). Hopefully the investors will understand the potential of Steem and we'll be the big thing in 2018.
