People are hire based on their fluent with English language.

This makes me remember how people phonetize English even if they are not fluent just to come of as fluent in the language.
Indeed English language has really impacted people such that everyone wants to speak it even forgetting their native language.

In jobs sector, it shows professionalism and a means of communicating with someone. Speaking a language someone does not understand and having the person say they don't understand might be really embarrassing for some people hence the importance of the language.
