I so agreed with you that trust is the cornerstone for all healthy relationships.

When there's trust in any gatherings, there's peace, unity and growth.
But when the trust is broken, diversity pops in, no focus and different attitude grow there.

So sorry you're a victim of broken trust and no love one of mine have i pray to encounter this because it's not healthy.
It's kill people feeling and bring assumption and generalization to others without giving a try.
