The Diary Game: How I Spent My Friday: Making Toasted Bread and Marking Scripts [14-02-2025]

Good evening @steemians. Hope your day is going on fine. Mine has been eventful and it's going on beautifully as planned. Stay with me as I take you through my diary for today.

Today was off day for me. When I woke up, I spent some time on the bed before having my morning prayers. When I finished with the prayers, I attended to some house chores and by the time I finished, I was all sweaty.

I headed to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and had my bath. When I finished, I laid on the bed going through my Facebook timeline. I tried staying up to date with the student-lecturer incident that occurred in Unizik.

Before going to bed last night, I had already put things in place for today's breakfast. I bought slice bread and egg which I was going to make use of in the morning. When I got off from the bed, I went straight to the kitchen to fix something to eat.

Whisked Egg with Spices and Vegetables

When I got to the kitchen, I brought out everything I was going to use. I brought out the egg I bought last night and spices and vegetable I had at home. Broke the egg into a plate, added my spices and vegetable and stirred continuously for a perfect mix.

I put my frying pan on fire and allowed it to heat up thereby making it free from any molecule of water. I added a little about of groundnut oil to the pan and when it heated up, I poured the egg mixture into the pan in small quantities and allowed to cook till golden brown. I flipped the egg over and waited for few minutes before bringing it down.

I repeated the process on the remaining egg mixture and before I knew it, one part of what was needed for the toasted bread was ready.

When that was done, I brought out the slice bread I bought yesterday and divided the quantity I wanted to use. I placed the fried egg on the sliced bread and covered it up with another slice. I repeated same until the slices I brought out we're exhausted.

When I was done, I brought out the toaster and got it heated, getting ready to toast the bread. When the toaster was ready, I put in the bread I had prepared in twos since the toaster has two compartments. I repeated the process till all the bread were toasted.

I prepared milk with chocolate and had with the toasted bread. It was so so nice. I was super excited because PHED restored power this enabling me to make use of the toaster.

Breakfast Served

When I was done eating, I was super filled. I felt as if my stomach was filled to the brim with no space for something else. I stayed for sometime relaxing and going through my phone.

Scripts

I brought out my students test Scripts to mark. It was nice to see how they could communicate their level of comprehension of the course through the answers they gave. Along the line, I got tired and decided to keep it aside.
