SC S24W5: Anime

At least if not every time, some who have been coming across my publication have seen works of art, especially drawings, once in a blue moon. They say left-handed people are good at drawing if you are not aware of @nsijoro, and I am an ambidextrous young man. I write with my left and eat most food with my right without much ado. I want to thank the organiser of this contest, and I want to tell him that I will be part of this even next week; chance and time didn't allow me to join most challenges.

	Kawaki

I am not a fan of anime. What I mean is I haven't been watching apart from Naruto, which I watched in high school. While browsing the internet, I found an eye-catching anime, and I tried to draw it. After a friend, an anime lover, saw my picture, he shouted, Kawaki, stepson of Naruto! Obviously, as far as I know, Naruto is the most popular anime I knew of, and now hearing of Kawaki has added more insight to my drawing path.

Back then, while drawing, I discovered the line pattern from my mate in high school, a girl who surprises me with her artistic skills.

After drawing this line with very accurate measurement, all the square patterns we have here are equal; I proceeded to trace my anime character.

My HB and 2B pencils were not missing out on this, even my pencil crayon, though I didn't use it in the first part; the head was the first part I started with, and specifically the hair. I followed the pattern precisely and also the curve because what I wanted to achieve was a replica.

If you should notice the differences in the eyes, one is a bit smaller than the other because of the face positioning.

I traced the hairs, and you can see the differences with just a glance. The darker shading was done with a 2B pencil, while a lighter part of the hair was shaded with HB.

	Steps

For the eyebrow, the lining was thicker; eyes are a very vital part in every drawing. If the eyeballs are not positioned well, you will see a big difference.

From my drawing, I followed the pattern accurately, and as you can see, KAWAKI, the stepson of Naruto, is looking at you.

I learnt something today; this particular coloured drawing is missing out on my video, and a greater part of my picture was black and white, and when I found out that the colour was an option as well, I utilised my pencil crayon to give a final touch.

The lighter colour of the face is as a result of the reflection from the sun.

I made a new selfie of my drawing today since others didn't come with my username and date, and this time I came with a colour.
