Contest Entry: How AI is changing our life.
Greetings All!
Do you use any AI apps?
Yes, I do, or, moreover, I have to.
Not just because of my professional role, but because of our everyday existence too. Whether in apps or websites, they’re mostly built off of AI.
AI technology has seen incredible progress in just the last few years, with enormous promise as well as risks. AI’s integration into our lifestyles has changed industries and helped improve our abilities.
Does it help in increasing your intelligence or not?
Of course, it's not.
In my opinion, what made things better then (whether the ‘technology’, the 'innovation', or any other'something') had been making us stupid, dull, and lazy?
As I see it, whatever the tool, the argument for that (how we got to do less thinking or faster) makes us all dumber, less creative people.
AI taking over the job of humans, do you think its good for us?
Again, my answer is 'no. I don't like to agree with this opinion.
Over the past two to three decades, the field of artificial intelligence (AI) has seen incredible advancements and disrupted numerous sectors while changing the way we operate our daily lives. One of the most promising areas of advancement within AI itself is the idea of "self-programming" language models. These models can write and rewrite their own code, opening up issues with respect to their applications, safety, and what the implications of these AIs could be. Skynet.
"The improvement in intelligence might only be the first stage... The end "may be at hand or have already arrived," and "the transition may be as unstoppable as it is inevitable." Such fears of losing control over our own creations have been prevalent since ancient times. The dystopian "AI Skynet" idea, often used in SciFi movies (e.g., "The Terminator"), while certainly far-fetched, requires us to analyze potential implications and establish defenses so that we don’t have to live through This section will discuss ethical issues in developing responsible AI.
