Happy new year

At this time of year, we all contemplate on the past year and what we did. We look at what has happened with a somewhat more mature view and what we learned from the experiences. We talk with friends and family about our experiences and we set goals for the next year.

Yeah, the goals that we all set and never accomplish. The reason is fairly simple. We set goals that have no time period to them. Stop smoking, be nicer, get rich (we are doing that on steemit :D). But some of these goals you can’t do without the drive. So instead of setting those really big goals are setting a couple smaller once that will let you go towards the big one.

For example, when you normally want to set a goal of stopping smoking. Set a goal to stop smoking at date XX/XX. Then you have no excuse to not do it.

So, in essence set a goal with an expiration date!
