STEEM is at No. 1 in Netcoins Coin Listing Contest

Just a few minutes ago Steem surpassed PAC Coin and is currently at No. 1 position. A big shout out to those who believed in Steem and voted and voted repeatedly.

How this happened???

• Ned's Call for Vote
  Ned's call for vote really did the trick. Steem was lagging way behind, but the yesterday's call by @ned to vote of Steem really motivated the Steemians. After that a massive surge of votes took Steem from No. 4 to No. 1.

• Whales
  Few whales also played their part pretty well by motivating steemians to vote and spread the word about contest, in return for their hefty upvotes.
• Community
  Netcoins Contest is an excellent test of community effort. It's simple, "Vote for your coin, and get it listed". And Steemit Community did an excellent job by uniting and standing up to the challenge.

Don't Celebrate Yet

It's too early to celebrate the victory as there are still two days left before the voting ends. I fear that things are going to get pretty close in the last lap.
Who knows there may be a Dark Horse.
So there is no time to rest. Just keep voting to consolidate the No. 1 position and extend the lead.
