this is one of the very issues, that has bedeviled my mind for a while as a plankton ,please readdress this issues.
For Steemit to keep running, migrating to hivemind is critical. The costs of steemd plugins, such as the plugin for tags and follows, is too high for sustainability. However, I don’t have a timeline on this — resources are being spent in other places, and we’ll come back to this migration at the right time.
I’m not ready to give much technical reveal on destiny, however, the answer here is it will not.
Yes, this is in our future. Consider this: Signups get better when — 1. No (or nearly no) costs to company doing Sign Up. 2. RC shortage doesn’t affect usage of the social portion of the apps.
Signups to SteemWallets are a tricky beast. Not as hard as opening a Bank of America checking account, but always harder than an Instagram account. We need apps that support getting people to the second to last mile so that we can entice them to get across the last mile (in this case, SteemWallets).
Any reason why you just did your minute on stage in suspenders and then leave? Would have been cool to see you mix and mingle with the community... would have loved beating you at bowling
