In six ways, STEEM holds number one position in the Crypto-universe!

INTRODUCTION

It is seems quite astonishing that a coin ranked between 25 to 30 can record top one in six parameters in the Crypto-universe. For example, BTC is the most widely known and has the largest market cap. Ethereum is the largest smart coin by market cap. The coin is STEEM, it holds few extraordinary feets in the crypto-universe, but still lagged in market cap. Reasons for lagging is the matter of another post. Today, I will the discuss six records from ascending orders according to their merits.

Number of Successful useful DApps run on STEEM blockchain:

Steemit.com is the number one Decentralized Application (DApp) in the Cryptouniverse by the number of users. As an website it ranked within top 1000 in the world. Other DApps are DTube, Dsound, Dlive, Dmania etc. which are getting more popularity day by day. No blockchain can boast so many successful DApps at this time.

Transactions Per Day Record:

STEEM already holds the record of more than 2M transactions per day. In fact, it has more transactions than next top 10 coins combined. It shows how active and useful STEEM blockchain is already. With upcoming hivemind and SMT, this transaction number can only increase.

Zero Fees (and fast confirmations):

STEEM only takes 3 seconds to confirm and has zero fees. No other coin can break its record of zero free transaction with such speed. It beats all top coins specially ETH, XMR, DASH which have exorbitant fees. Though BTC fees has recently dropped down it still takes 10 minutes to confirm a single transaction.

Consistent high grade of B in Weiss Report:

Weiss Report is one of the reputable and well-researched investing insights in Crypto-universe. It considers STEEM on top five coins consistently for last few months along with EOS, NEO, Cardano or BTC. All of these coins have much more high market cap than STEEM.

CONCLUSIONS

It is very hard to make a perfect system where only best contents or proof-of-brain will be rewarded. STEEM blockchain rewards the contributions not only the contents: investing through DPoS and selfvoting to some extent, contribution to the blockchain developments (e.g. all the DApps developments), all businesses on STEEM blockchain etc.

Steemit is still in beta and experimental. It has already shown that the concept is working. Though its creates lots of junks but it creates lots of gems too. Google searches on some topics bring people to Steemit. With a news of upcoming hivemind update, STEEM shot up 50% even in the bear market.

Imagine, after hivemind and SMT release, where STEEM can go next. If SMT can conjure up similar success of ERC20 from Ethereum, sky will be the limit. STEEM's previous success stories show that it can happen too!
