How to fix the mass auto-downvotes?

As many of you have experience it's a quite severe problem - many of new users are instantly driven away, which hinders the growth of the platform & the adaption in general!

Feel free to post your ideas below - my suggestion is that every user gets a downvote for every ten upvotes they recieve... (Would eliminate the bot votes...)
