I am sure you have heard about the recent 'Patreon Purge'. If you haven't @truthforce's recent post will give you a glimpse of it.
Fundition wants you to take to Twitter to make the alternative Steem voice heard.

Should We Create a Development Fund?
@whatsup poses this question. It is a big one and an important one.
In order to move away from our dependence on SteemIt, Inc. It is my opinion we need to have a development fund to pay for and allocate resources to developers or companies like Blocktrades in order to move development forward.

Great news. It is some small relief
I am going to save this post to study it again. There is a lot I do not understand and I want to check/read the links given by you first. Who knows it will make more sense to me. I can't paint me a picture yet about:
What the use is of the account.
I am seldom able to watch videos with my connection but the subjects sound good and helpful although I do not know if I willbe able to find and understand what I am looking for.
Is the idea to leave Steem/Steemit for what it is and start something new?
