Steempeak has released v1.9.3 of it popular Steem frontend.
As part of this release Steempeak has incorporated a news feed from the SoS Daily News posts to provide a featured Steem News facility.

DrugWars has continued their rapid fire release of updates...
As well as Steem and the DrugWars forum, players can now automatically share their fights across six other social outlets - Facebook, Twitter, Telegram, reddit, vk and wechat.

New Telegram channels for Steem and Steemit
New channels for Steem and Steemit have now been created on Telegram.
@theycallmedan is calling for volunteers from the community to act as admins for the channels...
These are community-driven Telegram's that will be run by members of the community. We need about 3 extra admins for each telegram that can help answer questions and smash spam. It is a voluntary gig, let me know if anyone is interested.
ShopSteem coming soon to a storefront near you
@patrickulrich is building a new shopping site for selling via STEEM/SBD.
ShopSteem is a multi-vendor marketplace aimed at allowing anyone the opportunity to earn or spend Steem. Anyone will be able to create an account that allows them to buy from other vendors using STEEM, SBD, or Bitcoin. Additionally users will be able to apply to be a vendor and list their own products within the store and receive a payout in STEEM.
[Note - this is nothing to do with the old project mentioned on the @shopsteem account. The account to be used for this new project is @shopsteem.com.]
