Be careful when using upvoting bots at moment!

Today I want to show you how you may lose much money usning upvoting bots like booster or randowhale.

Everytime we have a high SBD price there are some particularities you have to pay attention to.
This post is one example for that..

So the problem is actually pretty simple. If the SBD price is at 10$, and you buy an upvote from booster with e.g. 10 SBD you actually pay 100$ for this upvote. The upcoming problem is now that you need to receive an upvote of at least 20$ to get back you initial SBD (when calculating without the curation rewards). Then you would receive 10 SBD worth 100$ and 5 Steem (Power) worth 10$, so you made 10$ profit in Steem Power.

That sounds not bad you might think, and you will get more visibility and thus more upvotes, right? No.

Yes, if the SBD price in one week will still be 10 USD then you will make this 10$ profit. But let's imagine the price will get back to one USD. You will make 10 SBD wort 10$ and 5 Steem worth 10$. And you initial investment was 10 SBD worth 100$. So you lose 80$!

Do you see the problem here? Well, we don't know wether SBD price will drop or not. So you have to decide wether you want to take this risk.

I hope my advice can help you. If you don't understand something or have a question, write a comment!
Have a nice day!
