In Omaha poker you have to use two of your hole cards. The seven isn't enough to give you the straight, you would need another hole card. Your best hand was a pair of nines with K, 6,and 5 kickers.
Omaha Hi/Lo is a crazy game compared to Texas Hold'em. It took me a lot of practice to get my head around it and I'm still not that good. That's what makes these community casino games so good, it gives everybody a chance to learn and win. Better luck next week.
